Sophie Watt Better Life Occupational Therapy
Sophie Watt
Director & Senior Occupational Therapist

 

Sophie has over ten years of experience working in private adult rehabilitation, and the aged care sector. She is passionate about helping people and improving their quality of life. 

​

Sophie is experienced in assisting clients to remain living safely at home. She works with individuals, their families, and carers to determine an individual’s specific goals and what is important to them. 

​

Sophie has completed a certificate of pain management at the University of Sydney and is also trained in several different areas which include sensory assessment and treatment post stroke, Ai Chi (Tai Chi but completed in a hydrotherapy pool) and LSVT big (exercise program for Parkinson’s disease).

Joanna 
Occupational Therapist

​

Jo has worked as a senior Occupational Therapist in adult rehabilitation and has a passion for helping people, in particular assisting people to be independent in their homes.

​

She has expertise in home modifications, upper limb therapy, functional transfers and task retraining, compensatory strategies, equipment and wheelchair prescription and pressure care. 

​

Jo prides herself on building rapport and facilitating her clients to achieve their goals.

Tess 
Occupational Therapist

​

Tess has several years experience as an Occupational Therapist in both the private and public sector working with adult clients.

 

Tess has recently returned to Victoria following time living interstate and working in a senior acute Occupational Therapy role in New South Wales.

 

Tess enjoys working with the elderly population and her experience has equipped her with extensive knowledge to assist clients to remain living at home independently. 

Simone 
Occupational Therapist

Simone has several years of experience working in private adult rehabilitation on the Mornington Peninsula. 

​

She is passionate about working with the elderly population and can recommend equipment and home modifications to meet the needs of her clients. 

​

Simone prides herself on her communication and the relationships she has made with trades people and equipment suppliers which allows her to assist individuals promptly.
